Lauren is a Southern Methodist University graduate with a BFA in theatre. A theatre, film, and voice actor formerly based in Dallas, she recently relocated to New York City. She loves to take risks in her work and let magic spontaneously come out of exploration. She works to be a present, ready-to-play collaborator in the room and create a safe, open space for her partners in every project. She is passionate about artist advocacy, bringing women+ voices onstage, and experimental projects that take risks, challenge our beliefs, and give themselves the permission to examine what it means to be human through unconventional lenses. Offstage, she is a graphic designer specializing in creating art and marketing materials for theatre and film.

Some of her credits include: Sylvia in Two Gentlemen of Verona, Hilde in The Lady from the Sea, Margot Frank in The Diary of Anne Frank, Ophelia and Gertrude in Hamlet, Phoebe in As You Like It, and Sasha Berringer in The Book of Job.

Lauren’s prodigious preparation predisposes her for courageous, embodied listening and responding. She’s a ferocious partner in the rehearsal hall, and, in performance, an actor who can be trusted to allow the scene to unfold spontaneously every night.
